- How Many days I am behind on work: About 4-- its year end review time and all of the work has backed up around those activities. Good thing I saved some for my trip or I might otherwise forget who I am and what is waiting for me!

- Weight of checked bag: 48.5lbs by my liar of a bathroom scale
- Weight of roll aboard bag: 40lbs. Need to play damsel in distress and trick a dude into lifting it for me
- Temperature here in Dallas: 38 F (FUCK!)
- Temperature in sunny Buenos Aires: 71 F (at midnight)
- Temperature in Tierra Del Fuego: 40 F How fucking nuts is it that I have to go to Antarctica to escape the cold here in Dallas?
- How many times I have had to explain why I am going to Antarctica in the last week: Lost track after 20
- Number of DVDs I am taking: 21 personal and 4 from Netflix.
- First movie I will watch with vodka tonic inflight: Eurotrip. It's everything that I love about American tourists. We are coarse, loud and we don't care about correct geography. God Bless America!
- Chance that the number of meds I am bringing into Argentina will get me flagged as a drug dealer: 82%
- Likelihood that my mom will cry on Thanksgiving if the satellite phone does not work: Cannot compute.
- Likelihood that I will get some manner of food borne illness: As sure as the tide!
More from the land of beef, great wine and women who apparently do not wear anything larger than a size 10 (so much for clothes shopping)!! Pray that I make it through all the flights and on to my final destination of Antarctica--- and return with all of my fingers and toes!!
